The Beingsattvaa kitchen is unique and open, overlooking the rainforest. Guests can watch the kitchen staff at work. A Beingsattvaa kitchen and dining experience is an integral part of the overall Beingsattvaa experience as we believe that nutrition plays a crucial role in wellbeing.
The BeingSattvaa kitchen is a fully-equipped modern kitchen that serves delectable, delicious, yet healthy cuisine, made from plant-based, predominantly organic and locally sourced materials. Cuisine is international with a mix of Indian, Indonesian, Western and Mediterranean vegetarian food, which is sustainable, simple, pure and real.
Our menu is rooted in the belief that food should nourish the body, delight the senses, and bring joy to the soul. We celebrate fresh, seasonal, and organic ingredients, sourced locally and farm-to-table whenever possible. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted with a focus on vegetarian wellness, while also offering a wide range of vegan and gluten-free options to suit every lifestyle. We work with whole grains for the most part, incorporating vegetarian proteins like tofu, tempe and lentil sprouts.
From wholesome bowls and vibrant soups and salads to hearty comfort foods, we balance mindful nutrition with the simple pleasure of eating well. You will find modern recipes including a zucchini ravioli and Indian grandma’s recipes like idli and a dosa on our menu. We bring together flavors from around the world while staying true to our philosophy of wellness and mindful eating. And because wellness also means indulgence in moderation, you’ll find the occasional pizza, fries or ice cream making their way onto our table too.
The beautiful dining room, overlooking the rainforest, has seating arrangements that can be configured as tables for 4, 6, 8 or more people. Furnished in colourful table linen from India and Indonesia and colourful tableware and accessories, the dining experience will be personalised and unique. We cater to individual guests as well as groups. You can also request private dining for a couple.
A Personal Note from Renuka Vaidyanathan
This menu is deeply personal to me. It carries the flavours and traditions of my mother’s and grandmother’s kitchens — simple, soulful, and nourishing — alongside the inspirations I’ve gathered from my journeys around the world.
We are also inspired by the land we are in — Indonesia — and you will find ample Indonesian offerings, albeit of the vegetarian kind.
This is international soul food that’s good for you, kind to the planet, and full of flavor. This is also my way of sharing not just a meal, but a story: of home, of travel, and of the timeless connection food creates.
