Dr. Steven Hickman: Dr. Steven Hickman is a licensed clinical psychologist and Executive Director of the University of California at San Diego Center for Mindfulness. Dr. Hickman is a certified teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Self-Compassion and is also the Director of Professional Training for the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion. Dr. Hickman has led a number of mindful leadership workshops in corporate and educational settings and his professional work has included integration of mindfulness into workplace settings ranging from technology, healthcare, education and manufacturing.

Dr. Jochen Reb: Dr. Jochen Reb is Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources as well as the founding Director of the Mindfulness Initiative at SMU at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU). He conducts research on mindfulness in organizations with a special focus on mindful leadership. He recently published the book _Mindfulness in organizations_ (Cambridge University Press). He is a qualified MBSR instructor and facilitates executive programs on working and leading with mindfulness.

MINDFULNESS AND SELF-COMPASSION FOR OUR PATIENTS AND FOR OURSELVES
This intensive and highly experiential retreat workshop is intended for those engaged in the care of others such as physicians, nurses, psychotherapists, other healthcare professionals and home caregivers. You will have the opportunity to learn some of the basic principles and practices from the widely-researched and taught Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, as well as deeply transformational practices related to the cultivation of compassion and self-compassion drawn from the Mindful Self-Compassion program developed by self-compassion experts Drs. Christopher Germer and Kristin Neff.

She did her MBSR program in Sydney and took her teacher training under Dr Steven Hickman. She incorporates mindfulness in her clinical work, especially for the treatment of anxiety disorders. She also provides coaching for senior officers in management who seek to better understand their strengths and thrive in their leadership roles.
